Do you know what Iaido is? As a martial art?
It's a technique solely dedicated to drawing the sword from its scabbard, striking or cutting an opponent, removing blood from the blade, and then replacing the sword in the scabbard.
That's it! No fancy sword moves, no awesome striking techniques... just as simple as drawing a sword from his sheat.
What do you think of this?
I do not say it's a useless martial art but still... Why a martial art for only such a thing? Why not learn only Kendo?
I really don't get it's point...
